Perranuthnoe lies within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With its secluded, safe, sandy beach and the unspoilt beauty of the rugged Cornish coast, Perranuthnoe is an idyllic, picturesque village with a range of amenities to suit. Close to Helston and Penzance. The beach is clean and the water quality is good making it is safe for swimming. Dogs are allowed on the beach before 8am and after 7pm from the 1st May to 30th September. Outside of these months dogs are allowed at any time. There are three very popular places to eat and some beautiful houses.

From the July 2026 network changes, short journeys between Goldsithney and Penzance were specifically revised to additionally serve Perranuthnoe - a direct response to local feedback, so this is a fairly recent improvement. It's operated by Go Cornwall Bus, part of the Transport for Cornwall network, so check their app for live timetables.
